Few days away.

Friday 19.11.21.  Heading out for a few days before it gets too hot or too wet.

Stopped to make morning tea in Woolooga at a park.

Then on to J.A Gorton oval to set up camp in Maidenwell. 

Short walk around town. 

Memorial and pub in the background. 

All genders toilets 🚻 

Shared a huge pizza 🍕 at the pub for dinner and watched the red moon rising. Only saw 1 satellite and a couple of planes before the mossies got too much and we retired early. 

We travelled 248kms today.

Saturday 20.11.21.

Grass was very wet this morning when we went for a walk.

We cooked a beautiful roast on the camp fire for dinner. 

Sunday 21.11.21.

After bacon and duck eggs for breakfast Mark and I went for a 12km bike ride on dirt roads.

After a couple of games of Qwirkle Amelia made a platter for lunch, including bao buns with bolognese sauce. 

Played trivia games in the afternoon before cooking a lamb and veg stew on the camp fire. 

After dinner we played a hilarious game of 5 second rule, which I won as I was also the score keeper 🤷‍♀️.

Monday 22.11.21

After a very wet night, 45mm, we've decided to go home early.  Apparently it's going to be a wet week.

Packed up and on the road just after 7.30.

Carol and Barry's driveway as we left↕️  Rained on and off most of the way to Wondai where we stopped for fuel and coffee. Rain was steady from Murgon to home, except for about 5mins around Maryborough where the sun was out.

We had 73mm of rain at home while we were away.

We travelled a total of 770kms this trip. This will probably be the last trip of the year 😢

Our Jayco Journey has travelled ~12,500 kms since we picked it up on 29/1/21.
