31.7.21 Gootchie Creek Escape

After a visit to the Imbil bakery for morning tea we headed off to Gootchie Creek, a 600 acre property. Minimal amenities but big open spaces.

Dinner around the camp fire.

Morning group walk around the property ~3.7kms

Roast beef for dinner?
The container doubles as a cinema screen for family movie nights and as a stage for bands to entertain the campers or a gathering place for cows.
Cooked potatoes in the fire and ate around the camp fire again.
2.8.21 Morning solo walk~2km

Leisurely pack up and morning tea before we departed for home. We've decided to have short trips, closer to home, covid permitting.
This little trip, including Borumbah Deer Park, was 345 kms.

The van is now booked in for its 10,000km service.
