06.09.2021 Bjelke Peterson Dam.
We are heading to Bjelke Peterson Dam for a few days with Gunther and Graham & Gail. It's 180km from home. Stopped in Tiaro and Goomeri because we could. Interesting seating in Tiaro.

Neighbours with a JJ pop top came for drinks around the fire. We continued the night with a simple dinner around the camp fire.
Tues 7.9.21
6° overnight. Went for a 5km walk exploring the area.

Another night around the camp fire.
4° overnight but a beautiful day. Went for another 5km walk. Graham made a rum n raisin damper for a picnic morning tea.

Thursday 9.9.21
6° overnight.
We're moving on to Childers today. We have a 30yr anniversary luncheon at the Isis club for the aero club. 176km drive. We managed to get a spot in the RV Park so we've decided to stay the night.
The meal was OK, the company good.
Walked around town twice ~5kms.
